Maybe you’re even planning a NYE party and are looking for the finishing touch that will give you that “wow” factor for the night. Well, you can stop searching because you’ve found it! Amaze your guests by having this glittering back drop. It’s dual purpose-decoration, and can also serve as a photo-op area. We’re here to show you how it’s done and the best part is it will only take you half an hour from start to finish. Things You’ll Need: 6 yards Gold Glitter Knit fabric Scissors or rotary cutter Marking pen & ruler 36-40” ribbon in a coordinating color Begin by unfolding and laying out the gold glitter knit. Standing in front of it so it looks like a red carpet, grab the either edges and fold up to the other edges. Repeat this until you have a more manageable length to work with.     The kid’s are back in school and you’re finally getting your routine down again when you remember you didn’t take the kids back to school shopping! Or, maybe you did and you just didn’t find many things you thought were worth buying. Either way, this super easy summer dress will remind you of summer all year long and get your children Back to School: In Style! This pattern piece! ¾ Yard of your favorite (link) Rose & Hubble fabrics from Walmart.com 1 Yard of another Rose & Hubble Fabric (for the contrasting skirt) First, cut out 4 of your pattern piece on the fold. Don’t forget to add in the seam allowance of your choosing prior to cutting them out of your fabrics. We like a ¼” seam allowance. Next, grab two of the pattern pieces and open them up. Lay them flat on the table, right sides together and sew up the side seams, around the arms, shoulders and necklines. We like to use a small zig-zag for this.     It's always exciting and gratifying to hear what our customers are doing with our fabrics. Sometimes we get lucky and our enthusiastic "partners" send pictures of the end results. Here are a couple of clever and heartwarming uses for our cottons and flannels. The spunky bow tie was finely crafted by Cursor & Thread custom designs in Canada. The pillowcases were made at a charitable event held at the Hard Rock Cafe in LA.
